Graduation

I enjoyed reading the story called “Graduation,” by Maya Angelou. My favorite part was when the author described the main character’s graduation dress. The color of her dress was yellow with daises around the hem. I also enjoyed the part when the main character received graduation gifts from her family and friends. She received a watch, a poem book, and coins. In comparison, my graduation dress was yellow with daisy patterns. I also received graduation gifts. I felt very emotional and relieved during my graduation ceremony. I worked hard to complete my graduation requirements. Graduation was one chapter I completed in life. Another chapter I have to complete is to be a successful entrepreneur.
